Seeing as I am not a personal style blogger, this is my first (and likely, last) self-snippity-snap that I will be posting for a while… I just wanted to give my mom due credit and proper thanks for the rad vintage blazer!

(For me personally, the whole notion of posting photos of myself feels a bit unwieldy and unnerving; that said, I have tremendous respect for those talented folks who have the moxie to do so regularly! I must just lack the bloggy bone or something. Bummer.)

I’ll admit, the prospect of me actually returning said blazer is still up for debate and entirely unforeseen. Thankfully my mom lives out of town and doesn’t read my tumblr—or, for that matter, any of my work that does not appear in print—so I’m banking on this slipping under her radar.

Oh, the unsung joys of visiting family: easy-peasy laundry, cute dogs, very few transportation or food expenses and access to my mom’s closet. Much to my chagrin—owing to my relative banana boat foot proportions—we are not the same shoe size. Be that as it may, I’m suddenly itching to take a jaunt home this weekend…
