MeetJohn Jannuzzi… his blog textbook!
I recently made the acquaintance of John (see his Paper profile here) through one of my dearest, chicest family/high school/tennis team friends Jaime Brand (who attended college with John and ever-so-serendipitously is now the deft merchandise manager of my mom’s boutique Jane Leslie & Co.)!
John—a pillar of the Kate Spade marketing tea— is the playfully perceptive penman of textbook, a fanciful fashion blog that decisively deserves your daily perusal.
textbook:

oh the joys of traveling. in my urban life i seem to always be moving back and forth between the city and the country, particularly in the winter. as such, i must say the amtrak and metro north are not the most comfortable modes of transportation. so obviously it’s a must to be comfortable. my traveling gear tends to be my favorite because i’m completely 100% comfortable, lots of sweatshirts, sweaters, jeans and usually sneakers (i had to work today so i manned up with the boots). anyways, just in case anybody cares this is what i wore on the train from new york city to farmington, ct. hoo-rah.bringing rodarte to the land of no rodarte1: bankers envelope full of fantastic man, vogue and wwd from jack spade (a gift from the team, as always a big thanks to them!)2: beanie from jack spade 3: scarf from yigal azrouel (awesome soft)4: sweatshirt from rodarte! (from their little jig with opening ceremony, will never leave my side)5: overcoat from john varvatos6: suitcase from mulberry7: jeans from gilded age (yet another gift from my old boss, how fortunate i have been)8: my beloved boots from rachel comey (purchased at my equally beloved odin)
