The industry has long treasured photographer Jonathan Waiter’s well-honed craft and carefully wrought “fantasy”—a cohesive aesthetic of what he lovingly refers to as beautiful “lost girls”—along with his impressive portrait portfolio featuring the likes of Thakoon Panichgul, Rick Owens, Francisco Costa, and Alexander Wang. If you’re in New York this Tuesday 9/18, let’s show Jonathan our utmost love, support, and appreciation for his contributions at a Hotel Chantelle fundraiser created by his dear friends to help defray the exorbitant medical costs of CT scans, blood tests, x-rays, chemotherapy (R-CHOP), and radiation that Jonathan is braving to treat the stage 3b Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma (cancer) with which he was recently diagnosed. If you can’t make it to the event (RSVP here) but would still like to step up and lend a helping hand, please kick in what you can to the donation fund they established online here. I know we are all so inspired by his spirit; any assistance would mean the world! Thank you so much for your generosity.
