So I was mildly ambushed — albeit by a super cordial and enthusiastic team — while zipping between shows americano-in-tow for this Street Style segment. (Go Timex?)

While I was wholly unprepared to answer their questions, I truly cannot begin to do justice to how lovely the crew was.

And yes, as to be expected with all short segments there were a few bits and baubles lost in translation owing to the editing process. Case in point: It ought to be noted that the antique 1922 bracelet to which I was referring was the silver link one (not the Hermès elephant bangle from the enthralling era of circa three years ago).

Nonetheless a welcome break from the back-to-back show grind… thanks StyleCaster!

Karen Walker – Spring/Summer 2011 “Perfect Day”

My apologies for the lack of updates as of late – needless to say, my post-NYFW schedule has been chock-full of obligations (traveling, magazine deadlines, shooting and meetings meetings meetings) – but I promise that I will be back in the bloggy swing of things as soon as possible! In a nutshell, there is much to share and many forthcoming projects set to be released shortly. The inspiration has been thrilling and reinvigorating… especially in London this season!

Oh, and STOP, drop, and roll! How off-the-charts lustworthy were these Karen Walker shoes for Spring 2011 [in video, above]? While the platforms produced in tandem with her longtime collaborators at Pointer were prolific (as expected), I am particularly pumped for the Creeper-like loafers crafted with the Aussie company Beau Coops slated to be released just in time for my birthday. Just saying…
